Are oats gluten free?
19.10.2022 | by Juvela
Ours are!
Oats are often produced alongside wheat, rye and barley so there is a risk of cross contamination with these grains. However, our Pure Oats are uncontaminated and can be tolerated by the majority of people with coeliac disease.
They are as delicious as they are versatile, here's just some of our favourite gluten free Pure Oat recipes:
Fruit & Nut Granola
You'll never have a boring breakfast again with our Fruit & Nut Granola! Top it with some natural yoghurt and all your favourite fruits.
Bircher Muesli
There are so many recipes for overnight oats, but this is our favourite. The apples and raspberries are a perfect pair making even the coldest of mornings sunny and bright.
Flapjacks
We couldn't write a blog on our Pure Oats and not mention Flapjacks! Yummy golden chewy squares, perfect for anytime of the day.
Porridge Bread
Pure Oats and Yoghurt.... in a bread? Oh yes! It's amazing. This traditional Irish loaf is deliciously moist and easy to make... no kneading required!
Our Pure Oats are available on prescription in:
