Yorkshire Puddings

A Sunday roast just wouldn't be the same without good old Yorkshire Puds!

This recipe uses 50g of White Mix. A 500g pack of White Mix is 2 units of your monthly prescription unit allowance

  • 50g (2oz) Juvela Gluten-Free White Mix
  • 50g (2oz) cornflour
  • 3 medium eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • 125ml (5fl oz) milk
  • Method

    1. Before you start, preheat the oven to 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7 and grease 6 Yorkshire pudding/muffin tins.
    2. Pour a drop of oil in 6 muffin tins and place in a preheated oven for 10 minutes.
    3. Meanwhile, make the batter by beating all ingredients together well.
    4. Pour the batter into the tins immediately after mixing and then place back into the oven for 20-25 minutes until risen and browned (don't be tempted to peek during cooking as opening the oven door will affect the rise).
