Tuna, Caper & Basil Pizza

Tuna, capers and basil transform a simple pizza into an impressive meal! Try this recipe for a quick and easy dinner that still feels like a treat.

  • 1 Juvela Gluten Free Pizza Base
  • 5tbsp passata/pizza topping
  • 75g mozzarella, torn into chunks or grated
  • 1 small tin tuna in oil, drained
  • 1/4 red onion, chopped
  • 25g capers
  • Handful of fresh basil
  • Method

    1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C Fan/400°F/Gas Mark 6
    2. Spread the passata evenly over the pizza base and sprinkle the grated mozzarella over the sauce.
    3. Arrange tuna, capers and red onion on top of the cheese.
    4. Place on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven for 12–15 minutes until piping hot and golden.
    5. Garnish with basil and serve.
