Sage & Onion Stuffing

The classic gluten free accompaniment to serve with your roast dinner!

This recipe uses 175g of a White or Fibre Loaf. A 400g loaf of bread is 1 unit of your monthly prescription unit allowance.

Suitable for home freezing


  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 large onions, peeled and chopped
  • 175g Juvela Gluten-Free Loaf , made into breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp dried sage
  • 2 medium eggs, lightly beaten
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Method

    1. Heat the oil in a pan and gently fry the onions until golden brown.
    2. Remove from the heat and stir in the breadcrumbs and sage.
    3. Stir in the eggs and season well.
    4. Shape mixture into 10-12 balls (or transfer to a large dish as shown), place on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden and crisp.
