Nduja, Honey & Walnut Flatbread Pizza

Perfect for when you want to change it up from your typical pizza, these nduja, honey and walnut flatbread pizzas are the ideal combination to our Wild Garlic and Rosemary Flatbreads.

Ingredients

2 Juvela Gluten Free Italian Flatbreads
1 tsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
½ tsp tomato puree
250g passata
1 tsp honey plus extra for drizzling
Half a lemon
¼ tsp salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 ball of mozzarella, torn into pieces
35g nduja, torn into pieces
Handful of walnuts
Handful of basil leaves
Handful of rocket

Method

  1. Add the olive oil to a nonstick pan over a medium heat. Add the crushed garlic clove and tomato puree and stir for a couple of minutes.
  2. Add the passata, honey, lemon, salt and pepper. Stir and leave to reduce slightly for 3-4 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened then set aside. *TIP: make a double batch of the passata to use in our recipe for Chicken Parm Flatbread Wraps.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce over the flatbreads and top with the torn mozzarella, nduja, and walnuts. Sprinkle with black pepper and drizzle with a little runny honey.
  4. Put the pizzas under a hot grill for 10 minutes then top with some fresh basil leaves and rocket.
