Makes 1 portion


  • 2 thick-cut slices of Juvela Unsliced White Loaf
  • 1 egg
  • 40ml milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Topping ideas: Sugar-free syrup, Fresh fruit, Icing sugar or cinnamon
  • Method

    1. In a bowl, beat the egg and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well.
    2. Cut two thick slices from the white loaf and place in the batter. Make sure that each side of the bread is evenly coated with the batter.
    3. Heat a frying plan over medium heat and spritz with spray oil. Alternatively, use butter or olive oil.
    4. Place bread on the pan and cook each side for 2-3 minutes
    5. Once the bread has browned, place on a plate and add your toppings. Eat while warm and enjoy!
