We’ve teamed up with The Gluten Free Blogger, Sarah Howells, to host a series of Instagram Lives to help you discover how delicious (and easy to prepare) gluten free food can be.
Taking place 9th – 15th August, Afternoon Tea Week celebrates the uniquely British tradition of taking tea. You might worry that it’s not the most coeliac-friendly meal, as afternoon tea usually includes a selection of finger sandwiches, pastries, and scones. But you can make anything gluten free with our range of everyday essentials. Sarah will be using the Juvela White Mix to make scones.

Ingredients
300g Juvela Gluten Free White Mix, plus extra for dusting
50g golden caster sugar
50g unsalted butter (cut into cubes)
1 large egg
100ml semi-skimmed milk (and extra for brushing)
1.5 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp xanthan gum

Large Mixing Bowl
5cm fluted cutter
Sieve
Wooden spoon
