Imogen's first gluten free Christmas

If someone had said to me when Immy was first diagnosed with coeliac disease that we wouldn't be able to have our 'normal' Christmas dinner, I would have cried!

But we did it... we made majority of our dinner ourselves - all gluten free! And I've got to say, it would have to be one of our best dinners!!

There was no worrying about cross contamination and we could actually just relax and enjoy ourselves! I know this isn’t possible for everyone, but if you can go all gluten free... do it!

Christmas Eve we went out for food, for the first time since Imogen's diagnosis, with our friends. I won't lie, I was a little anxious but we did our research and the restaurant was amazing, understanding and catered for her needs and guess what.... she was fine!

Our family and friends were great, they looked into how Imogen could be included with meals and she had lots of Gluten Free goodies from Santa.

Boxing Day this year we decided to use the leftover Turkey and make Juvela Turkey and Ham Pie from scratch, super easy and another gluten free meal that the children could involved in making. Imogen was able to enjoy this Christmas and not be glutened, we did it, it's okay and the good news is, making Christmas gluten free is actually super easy to do.
