Tagliatelle Carbonara

Freshly cooked JUVELA Gluten-Free Tagliatelle lightly coated in a rich,creamy sauce to create a classic carbonara! Ideal served with garlic bread using the JUVELA Gluten-Free Pizza Bases.

ingredients:

  • ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
  • 100g (4oz) smoked bacon, sliced
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 2tbsp double cream
  • 2tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 150g (6oz) JUVELA Gluten-Free Tagliatelle

Method:

Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the garlic and bacon for a few minutes until bacon is cooked.Mix together the eggs,cream and Parmesan, and season well. Cook the Tagliatelle as per instructions on pack. Drain and rinse thoroughly with boiling water.

Add the freshly cooked Tagliatelle to the pan with the garlic and bacon. Then add the creamy sauce, tossing rapidly so the egg cooks in the heat. Season to taste and serve immediately.
