Chocolate & Banana Brownies

Gorgeous gooey chunks of brownie flavoured with dark chocolate and banana - one piece will never be enough!

ingredients:

  • 100g (4oz) dark chocolate*
  • 150g (6oz) butter
  • 175g (7oz) golden caster sugar
  • 3 medium eggs, lightly beaten
  • 175g (7oz) JUVELA Gluten-Free Mix
  • 25g (1oz) cocoa
  • 3 medium bananas, mashed

Before you start, preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5

Method:

In a large bowl, melt the butter and chocolate (either in a microwave or over a pan of simmering water), stirring occasionally. Cream together the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Gradually add the eggs, beating well after each addition. Add the Mix and cocoa and beat until thoroughly combined. Finally, stir in the bananas and melted chocolate, and transfer the mixture to the prepared tin. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 35-30 minutes until well risen and firm to touch.
