Q. What is the difference between the JUVELA Gluten-Free Mixes?

A. The JUVELA Gluten-Free Mix and Gluten-free Fibre Mix are both multi-purpose Mixes suitable for bread, cake, pastry and biscuit making. In many cases they can be substituted for traditional flour in your own favourite recipes. The Mixes are interchangeable with each other in all recipes. The only difference between the Mixes is that the Fibre Mix has added sugar beet fibre which gives it a delicious nutty flavour.

The JUVELA Gluten-free Harvest Mix is also a multi-purpose baking Mix, which is based on a combination of potato, rice and corn starch. We consider this to be a multiple allery product and is suitable for Gluten, Wheat, Milk, Lactose, Egg and Soya free diets.

Q. Can JUVELA Mixes be used to make bread in an automatic breadmaker?

A. Yes, both the JUVELA Gluten-Free Mix and Gluten-Free Fibre Mix can be used in an automatic breadmaker. Our Home Economist has spent some time developing a very successful standard recipe, and has tested it in many of the best selling breadmakers on the market .
