Peanut Butter Bakes
Makes 12-15
Crunchy chewy peanut flavoured cookies - a perfect mid-afternoon snack with a cup of tea!
ingredients:
- 100g (4oz) butter
- 125g (5oz) light muscovado sugar
- 150g (6oz) crunchy peanut butter*
- 1 medium egg, lightly beaten
- 125g (5oz) JUVELA Gluten-Free Mix
- 1/2tsp bicarbonate of soda
Oven temperature: 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4
Method:
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the peanut butter and egg and mix together well. Gradually add the Mix and bicarbonate of soda and mix until thoroughly combined. Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
Shape the dough into 12 balls and place well apart on a non-stick baking tray. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
