Garlic, Onion & Rosemary Flatbread
Serves 8
A quick, easy and very tasty flatbread - great to serve with your favourite gluten-free pasta dish!
ingredients:
- 1 packet JUVELA Gluten-Free Mix
- 1 sachet dried yeast (supplied with Mix)
- 2tbsp vegetable oil
- 250-300ml warm water (approx 40C)
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 2tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
Oven temperature: 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7
Method:
Place the Mix in a large bowl and stir in the yeast. Add the oil, half the garlic and half the rosemary and gradually add the water to form a soft but not sticky dough. Knead on a surface lightly dusted with Mix until smooth and then roll out the dough into a rectangle (roughly to fit into a swiss roll tin). Brush with a little oil and top with red onion and remaining garlic and rosemary. Allow to prove in a warm place for about 20minutes, then transfer to a pre-heated oven for 15-20minutes until golden brown.
