What a Star!

Take a look at lovely Amy Packer, age 8, as she received her ‘Young Person of the Year’ Coeliac UK Supporter award 2008 at a recent event in London. This is the fourth year that Juvela have sponsored these awards and we were delighted to see Amy being honoured for the tremendous courage and spirit she has shown in not only overcoming her own challenges, but also helping her younger brother adapt to his new gluten-free diet.

“The coeliac community is full of such heart-warming stories such as Amy’s and we are so pleased that these awards are there to honour these often unsung heroes.” Says Anna Marsden, Juvela’s Senior Home Economist.
